About

A principal-led infrastructure practice

Founded in 2024, built on production infrastructure experience reaching back to the end of the 2000s, and built to run what it delivers.

Why we exist

Nobody sets out to rent their platform. It happens gradually: a managed service here, a hypervisor renewal there, and one day the system the business depends on is one you cannot fully see, price, or change.

Tech Evolvers exists to put that layer back under your control. We work the platform layer, the control plane, distributed storage, networking, and the reliability engineering beneath them, which is the part a managed cloud abstracts away and the part that decides whether production holds.

The thesis is the whole practice: own your platform, don’t rent it. That only means something if someone will operate it afterwards, so we build and run, rather than advise and leave. Every engagement is designed to end with you able to own what we built, whether we keep running it or hand it over.

How we deliver

Principal-led, with depth brought in as the work requires

A principal engineer owns the standard and is accountable for the work, with senior specialists brought in as the work requires. You are not handed to a ticket queue, and the person who sets the architecture is the person answerable for how it runs.

Written down before production depends on it

Anything we operate runs with documented runbooks from day one. Availability and response targets are defined per engagement and written into the SOW, with on-call coverage as agreed and post-incident reviews on a defined cadence. Coverage and escalation are settled in writing before anything of yours depends on us, not after an incident.

Inside your controls, not around them

We work within your access controls and change process, with least-privilege credentials and an auditable trail, so your security team sets the boundaries and we operate inside them. Onboarding starts with access and an inventory before anything touches production.

Fixed scope or retainer, and no lock-in

Fixed-scope projects or ongoing retainers, typically build, then run. Direct with the end client, or white-label under a consultancy or IT-services partner’s banner. There is no contractual lock-in: leave a retainer on notice, or finish a project and keep everything it produced.
